Graceful, elegant and highly artistic, learn the foundations and techniques of classical ballet with KGA
Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. KGA’s Ballet classes are taught according to the methods and standards of Russian ballet. Ballet is a great outlet that touches on physical, social and mental aspects through movement and dance. Our classical ballet classes are for all levels, even absolute beginners. Build a strong foundation and learn terminology and technique.
Everyone loves to dance, and at KGA we believe it’s never too early to start. Our ballet classes introduce the basics of Classical Ballet through imagination and creative movement. All levels are welcome and classes are available for kids from 4 to 10 years old and 10 years to teenagers.
The classes focuses on posture, technique, barre and centre work, ballet terminology, and anatomy. Our methods are highly effective in teaching age-specific skills with focus on discipline, posture, grace, strength, and memorization.
It was my daughters first time and she absolutely loved every minute of her lesson. She learned so much and came home wanting to dance the rest of the day. I have decided to enrol her in the rest of the term and can’t wait to see what lays ahead.

Q. Do I need to have experience?
Absolutely not. We welcome kids of all ages and abilities where they will be guided through the techniques and exercises in an encouraging environment.
Q. Who should attend?
Our ballet caters to all age groups and levels. When you sign up for a trial our team will place your child in the appropriate age group and level.
Q. What do I wear for class?
We recommend children to wear the KGA dance uniform for our classes as most children do like to wear dance attire to feel part of a class and it is also good dance etiquette. We supply a dance uniform when children sign- up for a semester. We are flexible with uniform and children do not need the uniform for their first few classes, the main thing is ensuring your child is comfortable and can move easily. We recommend no denim, long skirts / dresses or dress ups for classes.
